AFL Sweden is composed by all Australian Football clubs in Sweden and is representatived by the executive board. All three regions of AFL Sweden are represented in the executive board.

On February 6, AFL Sweden held its first ever indoor tournament in Jönköping. Five teams from across the country got together in great spirit for a round robbin event and showed some impressive skills. Current DAFL champion Port Malmö took home their first title in 2010 with a clean sheet.

On Saturday, February 6, AFL held its AGM for 2010. The position as secretary as well as two places as board members were for grabs. Joel Språng from Gothenburg, was reelected as secretary for a period of two years as well as Tony Persson from the Port Malmö Maulers as board member (one year). New on the board is Peter Hammarström as board member from the Årsta Swans, who is also elected for a period of one year.

The newly formed European Australian Football Association (EAFA) is hiring a European Regional Manager.

With the funding being secured by the AFL for three years, the European Regional Manager's task is to develop Australian Football in Europe. Is footy your passion? Do you speak English and at least one other European language? Apply now!
